The End of the Ocean.

Please don't wake me, I beg you,
but let me sleep this sleep,
whether it's peaceful like a child's
or stinks of the snoring of a drunk.

Why do you want to disturb me
if perhaps I am dreaming of a winged journey
above a wheel-less chariot
pulled by the horses of the mistral wind,
in the mistral... in flight.

Please don't wake me, I beg you,
but let me sleep this sleep,
there's still time for the day
when eyes soak up tears,
my eyes... with tears.
